House Painting and The Love for Animals

House Painting and The Love for Animals: In a world where one can be anything, Rodrigo chooses to be selfless.  The 24-year-old Genesis Pro Painting’s house painting Production Manager juggles many roles in life. He’s one of our top-performing employees, a full-time student, and dedicates his free time to protecting animals from neglect. Since 2014 Rodrigo Maior has volunteered his free time to the SPCA of Westchester, a nonprofit organization with a mission to protect animals from cruelty. He has volunteered for many of ASPCA’s dog rescue missions and every time conducts a 14 hour round trip from New York to Virginia and picks up abandoned dogs so that they may be adopted. These dogs are ones that have been saved by the ASPCA of Virginia.

Without the intervention of ASPCA, these dogs would be put down or left in the streets. Dog rescue missions give animals a second chance at life.

These missions usually occur overnight. The number of volunteers willing to drive hundreds of miles in a short time span is very slim.
Rodrigo often recruits his friends to join or conducts a mission as often as he can. Once He completes his mission he typically heads straight to an early class.

Conducting dog rescue missions is not something required from him, it’s something he chooses to do selflessly.

“I don’t have much free time so with the little I do have I make sure I do something that’s worthwhile, something that helps others,”
Rodrigo Maior.
