How We Started:
Genesis Pro Painting made its debut in Yonkers, New York, back in 2004 while Genesis Macedo was still working as a painter for a local general contractor and performing small projects for his first clients after work and on weekends. His experience as a painter started in 1998 when, at the age of 20, he moved from Brazil to Portugal in search of better opportunities in life. He worked as a painter for about two years there, decided to relocate once again to the United States, and started working in the painting industry here in New York right away.
Personal Life and Family
In 2001, Genesis arrived in New York and met his soon-to-be wife, Sy Macedo. One year later, they got married, and in 2003, Matthew was born.
With his drive to succeed and with the support of his wife, friends, and family in 2007, he decided to quit his job and dedicate full time to Genesis Pro Painting.
Now, they run a smooth operation along with Rodrigo Maior, who joined the team in 2016 as a production manager.
