I am about to move into a 2 bedroom new construction condo. The walls of my new condo are all white and the entire place needs to be painted. There are also different types of sheen recommended for different areas of the house.
Surface Preparation:
I understand that in order the new paint to adhere to my wall, It must be clean and free of dust, dirt, grime, mildew and other chalky residue. Since I will be doing it myself, I would prefer hand scrubbing to prepare the surface. I should also be careful in filling the holes and any wall cracks. Any areas where repairs has been done will need to be primed first.
